Uniqlo is a Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer, and retailer. I specifically wanted to focus on the graphic collections because they have a great number of apparel inspired by Japanese culture. Thus, on each spread, I highlighted a different part of Japanese culture (Tokyo, manga, and Japanese art). I wanted to attract those who already appreciate Japanese culture and also inform those who don’t know much about it. Moreover, I formatted the whole catalog to look like the format of manga (Japanese graphic novels) and hand drew all the characters wearing the actual apparel shown in the catalog.
